SWEET HEART POLISH SWATCH & REVIEW

Good Morning beauties! ;) I have more fun swatches to share with you today and then I might be MIA for a week or 2 because I'm getting married on Saturday! :D

Before my family gets here and all the wedding craziness happens I wanted to share with you guys my swatches from Sweet Heart Polish. This is my second time swatching Sweet Heart Polish polishes :) And I am very excited about that! If you would like to see my first set of swatches you can find them here.

**These polishes were sent to me for review. Please see my Disclosure Policy listed in the tabs above.**

Purple Lotus, Liam and Club 33

Up first is Club 33 because it's a Disney inspired polish and I have bee CRAVING a Disneyland trip so bad!! I haven't been in about 7-8 years :( How depressing is that!? I think I'm going to plan one asap!

Club 33 is such a fun multi-shaped glitter :) This is from the Disneyland or Bust Collection. It's a mix of gold stars, green matte and holographic clovers as well as black Mickey Mouse heads, plus lots of tiny gold glitters and shimmer. It has a hint of green when you apply it, which is why I chose to apply it over 2 coats of Essie, The More The Merrier and Sinful Colors, Black On Black.

It applied fairly well, I didn't have to do a whole lot of glitter placement (although I did do a little just because I wanted some of the bigger glitters on each nail). This polish is one that I can see getting a little goopy over time, but a simple nail polish thinner would quickly fix that :)

Up next is a gorgeous lavender holo! (I have to admit, for not having had or tried any holos towards the beginning of the year I have quite a few now! And I love them all!)

This is Purple Lotus, from Sweet Heart Polish's Garden Party Collection. It applied very easily and very smooth. I used 3 coats for full coverage.

And last up, which you may recognize, is Mr. Liam from the Superfine Collection...which is a collection inspired by some super fine Hollywood Hunks :P The reason you may recognize this polish is because I was sent this polish the first time I swatched for Sweet Heart Polish. I honestly do not mind though because I love it! It's so gorgeous! I love berry colored polish!

So because I have swatched this one before I decided to swatch it differently than last time (to see my first swatch click here). For this swatch I decided to apply one coat over 1 coat of Sinful Colors, Black On Black and then I mattified it! I love both swatches I have done of this polish because you'd never know it was the same polish, they look so different! But the mattified is amazing! If you have not noticed the new trend of mattified glitter you are seriously missing out! Idk who started it but I could seriously kiss them!! :P

So that's it! I hope you guys enjoyed these swatches :) If you don't already follow Sweet Heart Polish you should! You can find her on Facebook and Instagram as well as shop from her Etsy account (links below).

NORTHERN STAR POLISH SWATCH & REVIEW

Good afternoon ladies! (and gents, if you're there too :P).
Today I have some beautiful new polishes to share with you from Northern Star Polish! :)

Just a little back story on Northern Star Polish, it was started by a girl name Kristin. She opened her shop in March of 2012 and all of her polishes are hand mixed and the Big 4 free :) She has worldwide shipping with a flat rate of $3, plus free shipping for orders over $50! How awesome is that!? I totally envy people that start small businesses :) I think it's pretty dang kewl! :P

So now on to the polishes! I am new to this brand and I have to say I am so impressed! These polishes are from her summer collection (which is being released tomorrow, June 15th) and if I were to rate the whole collection I think I would totally give her 5/5 :P

Night Swimming, Electric Lime, Beach Baby & Burning Embers

It has been quite a long time since I have worn a red polish...it's not my go-to color, plus I prefer other colors more...but this one is awesome!

Burning Embers, it's a beautiful red holo with red micro glitters. It was completely opaque in 2 coats, although one coat was pretty opaque by itself, plus the formula is awesome! It applied so even and so smooth that I didn't even use a topcoat.

Beach Baby is my absolute favorite of the 4 polishes! I have no idea why, but I have been so attracted to orange polishes as of late...then you add gold shimmers!? I was in heaven with this polish! I applied 3 coats and was pleasantly surprised that it seemed to dry matte.

Don't you just love the brightness of this polish! This is Electric Lime and it is just that! Electric! :P I love the way the extra colored glitters makes this polish pop! :D It's so fun and eye catching! 2 coats was perfect for full opaqueness and I did apply one top coat over this polish just to smooth over all of the glitters.

And last up, Night Swimming...you all know I love my blues, and I have to admit that I have a lot :P ...but I do not have one like this! The shade of this blue is to die for...but one thing I had a hard time catching in the photos is the pink/purple shimmer! In the right lighting the shimmer really shines and makes this polish extra gorgeous! Plus this one also dries matte :) HEAVEN!!

I love these polishes!! And also the cuticle oil :) The one thing that I noticed right off the bat with the cuticle oil is that it doesn't have a strong smell (which is nice) and it doesn't leave my fingers feeling greasy like some other cuticle oils I have tried. It applies with a roller ball, and most cuticle oils I've tried with a roller ball dispense a lot of liquid when you apply it to  your fingers, but this one didn't, which I actually loved because I had just the right amount of oil on each cuticle! Well done Kristin!

If you would like to purchase any of these polishes, or just check out more, you can do so here at Kristin's shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/NorthernStarPolish (it is currently down, but will re-open tomorrow around 12, central time).

Also be sure to check out her Facebook and Instagram for more pics as well as updates!

ALCHEMY LACQUERS - ALCHEMICAL IMAGINARIUM: WATER FAE COLLECTION

Hi :) I have a few more beautiful swatches to share with you guys.
Today's swatches come from Alchemy Lacquers. These 4 polishes are from her new line, Alchemical Imaginarium: Water Fae Collection…and they are stunning!

**These polishes were sent to me for review. Please see my Disclosure Policy listed in the tabs above.**

I was in heaven opening these polishes…mainly because 3 of them are blue ;) but also because the sparkles, shimmers, holos are all amazing in each one!

This is Naiad of the Spring, a beautiful royal blue multi chrome glitter polish. I could have gotten away  with 2 coats for full coverage with this one, but I wanted to apply a third for density. The consistency of this one was a little bit thick, but it wasn't so bad. The polish still applied smoothly to my nail, it just got a little bit think around the neck of the bottle…nothing a little polish thinner won't fix :)

(I'm not sure why my hands look so red in these pics…please look past that to the beauty of the polish!)

This turquoise blue makes me think of a mermaid's tail :P Don't you think so too?
This is Nixie Tears, which is a jelly polish. It has irridecent and holo glitters in pink, purple and turquoise. It applied very well and is absolutely stunning! 2-3 coats is perfect for coverage.

Usually when I first glance at polish bottles I can tell which ones are going to be my favorite, but I was totally wrong with these four. I thought the first two would be my favorite, and although I do love them, these last two are my favorite!

Selkie Fur is an amazing deep blue and silver micro glitter polish. The moment I applied this one I fell in love :P I didn't want to take it off! 2 coats was perfect for full coverage and the topcoat made this color pop!

…and I'm pretty sure it's safe to say I left the best for last :P I can't even explain how much I love this color! This is probably my all time favorite green! I really love looking at the swatches of this one because you can see the color shift really well!

This is Kelpie Seaweed, a beautiful forest green holo, which shifts to a violet multichrome. 2 coats would have been perfect if my nails were a little bit shorter, but 3 covered the tips of my nail a little bit better.

I absolutely love this set! :) Rebecca did an amazing job! :)
You can find this set (or the individual polishes) at Alchemy Lacquers Etsy page here: https://alchemylacquers.etsythemeshop.com. The full set is $34, and individuals are $8.50-$10.
